I just got my copy of the new book Switch Craft by Allison Lewis and Fang-Yu Lin.  I was especially excited when I saw that it was spiral bound.  Finally a digi-craft book that sits flat on a work table!  There are a lot of great projects in this book.  I will definitely try out a few and post them here.  The aesthetic of many of the projects is pretty interesting.  There’s a clutch that lights up the word “tease” on the side when you open up.  Is this a feminist reclaiming of the word tease or was tease really never reclaimed?  Something to think about definitely.  I love the section on “Basic Switch Elements”.  It’s a great how-to for beginning gadgetcrafters.  I’m definitely going to have to try out the gadget gloves as well.  A glove I can use to control an iphone!  I say hell yes!!
